2025-26 Dragon Kids Club School Year Care Information

Dragon Kids Club is ISD #465 Community Education & Recreation’s school-age childcare program for children entering grades K-4 for the 2025-2026 school year. We have a professional and caring staff, a variety of enrichment programs, engaging recreational choices, outdoor play, and large and small group games. Join us for some fun at Dragon Kids Club! • Scheduled Early Release (12:15-6pm) will be $20 for the afternoon. This does not include weather related early releases.

Summer 2026 Dragon Kids Club Information

We offer childcare for Kindergarten through 5th grade students (use 2026-2027 school year grade), Monday-Friday, from 6:30am-6:00pm during the summer months. Kindergarten age students MUST be enrolled in Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year in order to attend DKC.

We are located at the Wagner Education Building (enter door 10) and children are walked to any of their summer Community Education activities on the LMS/LHS Campus.

We take several walking and bus field trips during the summer. Past field trips have been to the Splash Pad, A Maze'n Farmyard, Ecumen, LHS Pool, Litchfield Library and Little Red Schoolhouse.

During the summer, we participate in the Summer Food Program when available, allowing children to receive free lunch while the program is running. Families will have to provide their own lunches when the Summer Food Program is not running. DKC provides an afternoon snack each day. Breakfast is not provided.
