Heartsaver CPR AED
Course Description:
The Heartsaver® CPR AED Online course is taught in a blended learning format. Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session conducted by an American Heart Association Training Center instructor. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session (sold separately), will receive a Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion card, valid for two years.
First Aid and CPR blended learning class requirements.
- Register for and complete the online training through the American Heart Association. Complete the course survey at the end of the training and print off the certificate of completion to be submitted prior to your skills assessment.
- Register for and attend a skills assessment through Community Education. Provide the certificate of completion from the online training.

Directions for Blended Learning Part 1:
Heartsaver CPR AED Course provides the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of CPR and how to use an AED. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community.
Online course can be purchased and completed by visiting www.heart.org and searching for course # 20-1401. Upon completion of the course, complete the course survey and print the course completion card to be presented to your instructor during your hands-on skills session.
This AHA certification is valid for two years. (Minimum age for certification is 11 years old).
