Litchfield 4th Grade Volleyball - Winter/Spring 2026
Youth / Youth Recreation/Sports / Volleyball -
Winter/Spring 2026
Join our Intro to Volleyball League — perfect for first‑year players! This program focuses on building fundamental volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, hitting, basic rotations and game rules) in a fun, game‑situated environment. Players will learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and game awareness while getting plenty of reps in practice and play. Practices start in mid‑February and competitions with start in March. The season will go through the end of March (or into early April depending on tournaments). We’ll practice 1-2 times a week and compete in 2–4 playdates/tournaments hopefully in Litchfield and nearby surrounding communities. Travel may be required for some events, but we’ll try to keep it to about a 60‑minute radius. All skill levels welcome — come learn, compete, and have fun with the team!
A season schedule will be sent out once tournaments are finalized.
If you have any questions, please email Kelsi Hogg at khogg@isd465.org
Registration deadline: January 1, 2026
*This activity is for students that attend Litchfield Schools. If more numbers are needed, then we would consider accepting students from other districts.

I’m currently the Programs Coordinator at Litchfield Community Education and a proud mom of three—two of whom attend Lake Ripley Elementary.
My love for volleyball began back in 4th grade when I joined a JO traveling team, and it’s been a big part of my life ever since! I played from 4th–12th grade in the Chaska Juniors and Club Dakota JO programs, as well as for Chaska High School, before continuing my volleyball career at St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN.
My coaching journey started at Winona Cotter High School, where I led the 9th-grade team and a 16U JO team. From there, I coached the 8th-grade team and an 18U JO team at Dassel-Cokato before moving to Howard Lake High School, where I taught high school math and coached volleyball for eight seasons—including three as Varsity Coach and three as Assistant Varsity Coach. I also co-directed the Laker JO Volleyball program for several years.
I’m excited to serve as the 10U Volleyball Coordinator and help coach this winter/spring season! I look forward to working with your daughter and helping our young players build their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
