This program offers Litchfield-area youth the chance to develop, strengthen, and showcase their gymnastics skills in a positive and encouraging team environment. Gymnasts build confidence, improve technique, and prepare for their next steps - whether that's joining a club team or transitioning into high school gymnastics. 

PROGRAM GOALS:

1. To foster confidence in each gymnast by celebrating progress, encouraging them to take on new challenges and develop a strong belief in their abilities both on and off the equipment.
2. Instill proper technique and form in all gymnasts by emphasizing body alignment, control and precision in every skill. Through consistent practice, individualized feedback, and focused drills, athletes will develop a strong foundation of correct form that enhances performance and reduces risk of injury.

Who can join?

• Open to girls in grades 3–6.

Program Highlights:

• Grades 3–4 will focus on strengthening  their form in basic skills and will move onto more challenging skills as the year goes forward. They will learn routines on: bars, beam and floor according to their abilities for the mock meet at the end of the season.
• Grades 5–6 will focus on preparing for high school gymnastics. They will work on the skills required for each of the four apparatus on the high school level. They will learn routines on bars, beam and floor that can be adapted for competition when they begin on the high school team. 
• Each coach will conduct a skills assessment to determine a starting point and develop goals for their respective teams. 
• All gymnasts participate in an end-of-season mock meet.
• Optional additional purchase: A leotard for participants to wear at the mock meet.

Program Fee: $105 per month.

*You will be charged $105 for the first month (January) at time of registration. Then charged $105 on 2/1, 3/1, 4/1 & 5/1.
