Tech Academy (Virtual ZOOM classes)

ONLINE VIRTUAL CLASSES

Tech Academy provides research-proven technology and STEM camps/classes for kids and teens ages 4-15. We believe learning should be fun, innovative, challenging and hands-on. Classes include Minecraft, Video Game Design, Programming, Engineering, Robotics, Computers and Film Making. Class links/information will be emailed approximately 1 week before the class start date.

Home Technical Requirements For All Classes:
● Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM
● Chromebooks, tablets, and phones DO NOT work.
● Internet: Broadband internet
● Webcam, Microphone, and Speakers
● Zoom Installed on Computer, zoom link will be sent before class.
● Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard.

Registration deadlines are 1 week before each class start date. 

CLOUD GAME DEVELOPMENT (Grades 4-8)

Discover how today's apps and games are built in the cloud! Students explore cloud-based development while building their own games from the ground up. Learn coding fundamentals like variables, functions, and game logic, then create, save, and share a cloud-powered game you can play anywhere. If you do not receive your Zoom link at least 5 days before class, please email virtual@techacademycamps.com.

INTRO TO 3D PRINGTING & CAD (Grades: 2-5):

Learn the full 3D printing process from start to finish! Design a custom keychain that gets printed and mailed home. No experience needed. Printing fee included. If you do not receive your Zoom link at least 5 days before class, please email virtual@techacademycamps.com.

KIDS THAT CODE (Grades 1-3)

Learn coding fundamentals by creating a game with unique backgrounds, characters, and interactive storytelling! A great intro to game design in a collaborative, supportive environment. If you do not receive your Zoom link at least 5 days before class, please email virtual@techacademycamps.com.

3D PRINTING: TOYS & PUZZLES (Grades 2-6)

Design and 3D print your own toys and puzzles! Model fidget spinners, maze puzzles, action figures, and board game pieces in TinkerCAD. Learn CAD fundamentals and watch your digital designs come to life. If you do not receive your Zoom link at least 5 days before class, please email virtual@techacademycamps.com.
