Join our Intro to Volleyball League — perfect for first‑year players! This program focuses on building fundamental volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, hitting, basic rotations and game rules) in a fun, game‑situated environment. Players will learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and game awareness while getting plenty of reps in practice and play. Practices start in mid‑February and competitions with start in March. The season will go through the end of March (or into early April depending on tournaments). We’ll practice 1-2 times a week and compete in 2–4 playdates/tournaments hopefully in Litchfield and nearby surrounding communities. Travel may be required for some events, but we’ll try to keep it to about a 60‑minute radius. All skill levels welcome — come learn, compete, and have fun with the team! Litchfield Junior JO Travel Volleyball TeamsVolleyballTry-outs for this activity have already taken place and teams have been made. Please do not sign up your student for this activity if they did not attend try-outs or have not been placed on a team. Junior Olympic volleyball is a great way to learn new skills and continue to strengthen the skills you already have. Players will be placed on teams that will practice twice a week and play in a variety of tournaments/playdates throughout the season (January-April). This is a great opportunity to work on your game outside of the regular season and have fun with your teammates! Please register for the team that your child has been placed on.
