High School Grades 9-12 ('25-'26 Grade): Litchfield Weight & Agility Training is designed to provide total body conditioning. Athletes who devote their time and give full effort will see improvement in the following areas: Strength and Explosiveness, Quickness and Agility, Speed and Vertical Jump, Flexibility and Balance. Activities will include: running form and sprinting, plyo-metric agility, ladder/hurdle workouts, explosive weight lifting with light weights, core workouts, agility circuit training and proper warm up techniques. Athletes will be taught proper technique when lifting and how to lift safely. Athletes going into grades 9-12 will be challenged to perform at their own highest level, through a series of test outs, circuit challenges, and time trials. All participants will get a t-shirt. *HS athletes - As long as HS students are registered for one of the following sessions, they can attend any of the other HS sessions times to fit their schedule. Middle School Grades 7-8 ('25-'26 Grade): Litchfield Weight & Agility Training is designed to provide total body conditioning. Athletes that choose to participate will be taught proper running and sprinting form, plyo-metric agility, ladder/hurdle workouts, explosive weight lifting with light weights, core workouts, agility circuit training and proper warm up techniques. If the athlete devotes their time and effort into this program they are going to see an improvement in all areas of fitness. Athletes at this level are taught how to properly spot other athletes as well as starting to add some weight to the bars. Students going into 7th or 8th grade will be challenged athletically and will participate in fun activities to keep developing as an athlete. All participants will get a t-shirt. Middle School Grades 5-6 ('25-'26 Grade): Litchfield Weight & Agility Training is designed to provide total body conditioning. Athletes that choose to participate will be taught proper running form, plyo-metric agility, ladder/hurdle workouts, explosive weight lifting with light weights, core workouts, agility circuit training and proper warm up techniques. If the athlete devotes their time and effort into this program they are going to see an improvement in all areas of fitness. Athletes at this age will be offered some fitness activities that will bring a sense of fun all while learning the foundations of athletic movement. All participants will get a t-shirt.
