Dragons Fireball Shootout Boys/Girls Basketball Tournament Grades 5-8BasketballThe Dragons Fireball Shootout Litchfield Youth Basketball Tournament will take place on December 13, 2025. This is a one day tournament with 3 games guaranteed (PLAY, SIT, PLAY, SIT, PLAY FORMAT). The boys will play in the morning and the girls will play in the afternoon. Registration is available for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Teams (One Team per Grade, per School). This is a B/C Tournament. No All Star, Renegade, or Independent Teams. Dribblin' DragonsBasketballLHS Varsity Coaching Staff The goal is to explain, demonstrate, and practice specific basketball fundamentals, developing good habits on the court. Participate in game play and rotate through skill stations coached by high school players and staff. The importance of hard work, communication and a positive attitude will be stressed, while maintaining a fun environment. Gain free admission to home basketball games with your shirt! Starting SoonLegion BasketballBasketballPlease notice that the BOYS Legion Basketball practice location has been updated. Week 1: 10/20 - LARC 10/21-10/23 - MS Gyms Week 2 schedule TBA. Legion Traveling Basketball focuses on fundamentals and developing the skills and knowledge needed to play basketball. Phase one includes a two week camp put on by the high school basketball coaches. The second phase will focus on fundamentals and playing league games on Mondays and Thursdays through the end of February. Practice times vary but will be between 5:30-8:30 PM. A formal season schedule will be handed out following camp. Parent volunteers are needed to run the traveling season. Boys Legion phase 2 will begin on November 3. Girls Legion phase 2 will begin on November 10. Parents are responsible for providing/organizing all transportation to this activity for their child. All parent/volunteer coaches need to complete a background check through Community Education.Fall 2025
