This Culinary STEM class is designed for kids to learn some Biology/Chemistry concepts as well as learning cooking techniques. We will be making 2 edible crafts: Edible DNA as well as Wintery Galaxy Popcorn. Let's have some fun while we cook, eat and learn about DNA, Genetics and Popcorn Chemistry. In this STEM class we will be learning how Cotton Candy is made WITH and WITHOUT a machine. We will be exploring the science on how Cotton Candy is made by heating and spinning flavored sugar and Jolly Ranchers. We will also be playing games for fun prizes like a CARNIVAL and EVERY child will go home with Cotton Candy and Lots of Prizes. Come and have some fun with your friends and enjoy the CARNIVAL. Come and have some fun with your friends and enjoy some spooky Jack-o-lantern themed cookie decorating!! At the end of this class you will bring home some very “spookily” decorated Pumpkin cookies for your family!! Yum!! A fun class activity is also planned while the cookies are drying.
