In CANDY CORN CATAPULTS, students become "Siege Engineers" as they design, build, and calibrate their very own desktop launchers. The mission? To successfully navigate the physics of flight and land a "harvest" of candy corn into a series of bubbling cauldrons. It's a race against gravity and a test of architectural strength!

In this class, we trade microscopes for spatulas as we engineer delicious, three-dimensional models of the most important structures on Earth: THE CELL We'll dive deep into the differences between the creatures of the animal kingdom and the wonders of the plant world. By the end of the session, you won't just know what cells look like; you'll know exactly how it's built and what makes it "tick."

We will meet most Tuesdays starting in September through the beginning of November and there will be a performance opportunity at the November 5th middle school choir concert. Intro to RC Car Racing Gr. K-8 Interested in RC Cars? Want to try racing them on a track? Then come join us as we explore what makes them work and get to try them out. Participants will leave with a better understanding and get some time testing out their driving skills on a few different types of RC Cars. Participants can use RC Cars provided or their own on approval. Students in grades K-1 should have an adult present with them at class. RC Car Racing Gr. 6-12 Want to drive RC Cars on a track? ONLINE VIRTUAL CLASSES Tech Academy provides research-proven technology and STEM camps/classes for kids and teens ages 4-15. We believe learning should be fun, innovative, challenging and hands-on.
