Kids will work on team play and sportsmanship. They will develop the following fundamental skills: throwing, catching, running, along with learning the strategies of offense and defense. Flags will be provided. No other equipment is needed. Baseball/football shoes with rubber cleats may be worn, however, tennis shoes work as well.Winter/Spring 2025

PopularSummer FootballFootballSUMMER DRAGON FOOTBALL: LHS Football Coaching Staff Summer Dragon Skills & Special Teams Camp Grades 2-8 (‘25-’26 Grade): This camp is designed to provide athletes with small group instruction in the areas of throwing, catching, kickoffs, kicking extra points, punting, and long snapping. Athletes will participate in all areas. No equipment is needed. If kids have football spikes, please wear them. Summer Dragon Football Camp Grades 5 & 6 (‘25-’26 Grade): This camp is designed to provide athletes with a basic understanding of the game of football. Athletes will participate in a variety of fundamental skills, ball skills, tackling, blocking, etc. Anyone new to the padded football program will need to purchase football pants with pads (for pants). (The football program does have a supply of extras pants if needed, these are FREE to use!!). All other equipment (helmet, mouth guard, and shoulder pads) will be provided, except shoes. (The football program does have a supply of extras shoes if needed, these are FREE to use!!). Tuesday August 5th- 3:00pm - 5:45pm (*Day #1-- Meet Middle School locker room area- we will get equipment together and walk to the practice field after) Wednesday August 6th- 4:00pm - 5:45pm , start at HS FB practice field Thursday August 7th- 4:00pm - 5:45pm , start at HS FB practice field Summer Dragon Football Camp Grades 7 & 8 (‘25-’26 Grade): This is for students looking to participate in Middle School Football in the Fall of 2025, but not exclusive to. Each participant will be taught the fundamentals of football. Special care will be taken so players will compete against other players of similar size and weight. All equipment will be provided, except shoes. (The football program does have a supply of extras shoes if needed, these are FREE to use!!).
