Lap Swim Ages 16+FitnessThe Litchfield High School Pool is open for lap swim. Lap swimmers should swim at an intermediate level or above. The lap swim schedule is subject to change depending on attendance and scheduling of a lifeguard. Punch passes can be purchased online but need to be picked up at the Community Education office before attending lap swim. Lifeguards DO NOT sell lap swim passes at the pool. Enter using door 11 in between the middle school and high school to access the pool. Follow the red signs to the pool. *Lap swim fees will be increasing on May 1, 2026. Litchfield PreschoolLitchfield Public Schools Preschool is an on-site, all early childhood service combined in the pre-k-grade 3 continuum with Lake Ripley School. We have early childhood licensed teachers and use curriculum and assessment tools approved by the Department of Education. Litchfield Weight & Speed/Agility TrainingSummer Weight Room Grades 5-12Litchfield Weight & Speed/Agility Training is lead by several of our High School team coaches. High School Grades 9-12 ('26-'27 Grade): Litchfield Weight & Agility Training is designed to provide total body conditioning. Athletes who devote their time and give full effort will see improvement in the following areas: Strength and Explosiveness, Quickness and Agility, Speed and Vertical Jump, Flexibility and Balance. Activities will include: running form and sprinting, plyo-metric agility, ladder/hurdle workouts, explosive weight lifting with light weights, core workouts, agility circuit training and proper warm up techniques. Athletes will be taught proper technique when lifting and how to lift safely. Athletes going into grades 9-12 will be challenged to perform at their own highest level, through a series of test outs, circuit challenges, and time trials. All participants will get a t-shirt. *HS athletes - As long as HS students are registered for one of the following sessions, they can attend any of the other HS sessions times to fit their schedule. Middle School Grades 7-8 ('26-'27 Grade): Litchfield Weight & Agility Training is designed to provide total body conditioning. Athletes that choose to participate will be taught proper running and sprinting form, plyo-metric agility, ladder/hurdle workouts, explosive weight lifting with light weights, core workouts, agility circuit training and proper warm up techniques. If the athlete devotes their time and effort into this program they are going to see an improvement in all areas of fitness. Athletes at this level are taught how to properly spot other athletes as well as starting to add some weight to the bars. Students going into 7th or 8th grade will be challenged athletically and will participate in fun activities to keep developing as an athlete. All participants will get a t-shirt. Middle School Grades 5-6 ('26-'27 Grade): Litchfield Weight & Agility Training is designed to provide total body conditioning. Athletes that choose to participate will be taught proper running form, plyo-metric agility, ladder/hurdle workouts, explosive weight lifting with light weights, core workouts, agility circuit training and proper warm up techniques. If the athlete devotes their time and effort into this program they are going to see an improvement in all areas of fitness. Athletes at this age will be offered some fitness activities that will bring a sense of fun all while learning the foundations of athletic movement. All participants will get a t-shirt.Summer 2026 -

Open PickleballAdult Recreation*Pickleball classes are run as an open gym style class. Registered participants organize games on their own. No instruction is provided. Ready, Set, First Grade! Ages 6-7Youth Enrichment ClassesHere is your first grader's opportunity to take part in a weeklong first grade experience. Spitfire Bocce BallSpecial OlympicsPractice will be held at the West Ripley Park. This gentle, short-range yard game has been a favorite for centuries throughout Europe. Bocce Ball is open to all Special Olympic athletes as well as Unified Partners. Indicate a shirt size when registering. Registration is required.
