Course Description: HeartCode BLS (Healthcare Providers) is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or on a simulation station. This course is intended for healthcare providers. First Aid and CPR blended learning class requirements. Register for and complete the online training through the American Heart Association. Complete the course survey at the end of the training and print off the certificate of completion to be submitted prior to your skills assessment. Register for and attend a skills assessment through Community Education. Provide the certificate of completion from the online training.
