101 Dalmatians Ages 7-12Youth Enrichment ClassesDue to the popularity of this class, Ms. Val has added a 2nd performance group that will be on all the same dates but the time will be from 4:15-5:30pm each night. This newly added class will only run if we get at least 12 students to register. The adventures of Pongo, Perdita, their owners, and all those cute puppies! Don't forget Cruella De Vil and all the animals who help rescue the kidnapped puppies! A fun show to learn stage directions, creating characters, and teaching projection and expression. There will be a free performance on the last day of the play. The YouTube “vlogger” style presentation of the video brings a youthful and high-energy spirit to the program content, and the colorful magazine format of the student book makes learning fun. From getting started with your business, to working with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete achievement of the core learning objectives to receive certification valid for two years. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. Registration deadline is one week prior to class date. Parents need to be sure their children have the skills and maturity to handle the responsibility safely. Whether it is for an hour after school or several hours a day during the summer, being trusted to be home alone can be a positive experience for a mature and well-prepared child. This class for children will address several topics relating to being “Home Alone,” including age guidelines, safe habits, house rules, after school routines, phone calls and door knocks, dog emergencies, personal safety, handling the unexpected, gun safety, severe weather, fire safety, intruders and first aid tips. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. Parents are encouraged to review the take-home information and discuss it with their child. Athletes will participate in all areas. No equipment is needed. If kids have football spikes, please wear them. Summer Dragon Football Camp Grades 5 & 6 (‘25-’26 Grade): This camp is designed to provide athletes with a basic understanding of the game of football. Athletes will participate in a variety of fundamental skills, ball skills, tackling, blocking, etc. Anyone new to the padded football program will need to purchase football pants with pads (for pants). (The football program does have a supply of extras pants if needed, these are FREE to use!!). All other equipment (helmet, mouth guard, and shoulder pads) will be provided, except shoes. (The football program does have a supply of extras shoes if needed, these are FREE to use!!). Virtual ACT Test Prep CourseYouth Enrichment Classes*For students currently enrolled in grades 10-12 Advantage Educational Programs To help students prepare for the ACT test, Advantage Educational Programs, in cooperation with Litchfield Community Education, will offer their ACT prep courses to students from Litchfield High School. Are you uneasy about your test-taking skills or unsatisfied with previous ACT results? This may be the course for you. Two different course formats allow students to choose the one that best suits their learning styles and personal circumstances. Students are also able to make up any classes they miss, and all courses may be repeated online at no additional charge. Once enrolled, students are sent an access code for their class via email. Registration deadlines are one week prior to class start date.
