AirMaxx Trampoline Park Grades K-4Youth TripsSpend the day with Community Education Staff for a trip to AirMaxx Trampoline Park in St. Cloud. Show off your jumping skills while we spend 2 hours on the massive trampolines, playing dodgeball, jumping in the foam pit and see if you have what it take in the ninjas warrior course! Upon returning to the WEB, we will play games in the gym and end the day with a movie on the big screen. Everyone needs to bring a lunch, lots of snacks, and a water bottle. 8:00 AM - Parent Drop-off at WEB lobby 9:00 - 11:00 AM - Jump & Warrior Course at AirMaxx 11:00-11:30 AM - Eat lunch at AirMaxx 12:15-3:00 PM - Gym games & movie at WEB 2:45-3:00 PM - Parent Pick-up at WEB lobby You must fill out a liability form prior to the trip. The YouTube “vlogger” style presentation of the video brings a youthful and high-energy spirit to the program content, and the colorful magazine format of the student book makes learning fun. From getting started with your business, to working with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete achievement of the core learning objectives to receive certification valid for two years. DC/L Youth WrestlingWrestlingYouth Wrestling Program ('25-'26 Grade): DC/L Wrestling Staff Winter Session: Whether you've been in wrestling before or not, this is a great opportunity for boys and girls to learn! Charging Dragon wrestling coaches use drills and games to teach techniques and skills. Grades 3-6 will have two seasons. The first season (11/20-2/5) is for all athletes and is used to introduce and reinforce skills, while the second season (2/17-3/3) is for advanced wrestlers who wish to continue practicing and competing into February and March. GRASP (Grand Rapids Academic Summer Program) Grades K-8Youth Enrichment ClassesGrand Rapids Academic Summer Program is a summer math and reading correspondence program that provides review exercises for children completing kindergarten through grade 8 (use 2025-2026 school year grade). Teachers and curriculum professionals developed this cost efficient substitute for traditional summer school that seeks to help students retain skills learned the past school year. Grades K-3 get a packet and grades 4-8 can choose between online or a packet. For more information visit www.grps.org/grasp. Gymnasts build confidence, improve technique, and prepare for their next steps - whether that's joining a club team or transitioning into high school gymnastics. PROGRAM GOALS: To foster confidence in each gymnast by celebrating progress, encouraging them to take on new challenges and develop a strong belief in their abilities both on and off the equipment. Instill proper technique and form in all gymnasts by emphasizing body alignment, control and precision in every skill. Through consistent practice, individualized feedback, and focused drills, athletes will develop a strong foundation of correct form that enhances performance and reduces risk of injury. SPECIFICATIONS: Who can join? Open to girls in grades 3–6. Program Highlights: Grades 3–4 will focus on strengthening their form in basic skills and will move onto more challenging skills as the year goes forward. They will learn routines on: bars, beam and floor according to their abilities for the mock meet at the end of the season. Grades 5–6 will focus on preparing for high school gymnastics. They will work on the skills required for each of the four apparatus on the high school level. They will learn routines on bars, beam and floor that can be adapted for competition when they begin on the high school team. Each coach will conduct a skills assessment to determine a starting point and develop goals for their respective teams. All gymnasts participate in an end-of-season mock meet. Optional additional purchase: A leotard for participants to wear at the mock meet. Program Fee: $105 per month. *You will be charged $105 for the first month (January) at time of registration. This class for children will address several topics relating to being “Home Alone,” including age guidelines, safe habits, house rules, after school routines, phone calls and door knocks, dog emergencies, personal safety, handling the unexpected, gun safety, severe weather, fire safety, intruders and first aid tips. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. Parents are encouraged to review the take-home information and discuss it with their child. Softball T-ball League: Girls Ages 5-7SoftballThis league is for girls that are not yet participating in the traveling fastpitch program. This In-House Softball League is dedicated to offering children ages 5-7 an enjoyable and supportive environment where they can learn and prepare for fastpitch softball. Emphasis will be on creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere that helps young players develop their skills, forge new friendships, and experience the sheer joy of the game, all within a non-competitive setting. Players will be split into teams depending on registration numbers and the league will be a mix of coach-pitch and using a tee. Several volunteer coaches are required to run this activity. Spring Flag Football - LHS Football Coaching Staff This program will provide athletes with a basic understanding of the game of football while playing flag football. Kids will work on team play and sportsmanship. They will develop the following fundamental skills: throwing, catching, running, along with learning the strategies of offense and defense. We believe learning should be fun, innovative, challenging and hands-on. Classes include Minecraft, Video Game Design, Programming, Engineering, Robotics, Computers and Film Making.
